Roles and Responsibilities
Conduct eye exams to diagnose vision problems and prescribe corrective lenses or other treatments as needed.
Dispense glasses, contact lenses, or other optical products based on patient prescriptions.
Perform refractions to determine the correct lens power for each patient's eyes.
Maintain accurate records of patient examinations, including test results and treatment plans.
Collaborate with ophthalmologists when complex cases require specialized care.
