We are looking for a Senior Data/Analytics Engineer with solid expertise in Looker backend development, LookML and Google Cloud BigQuery. The role will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable LookML models, optimizing Looker and BigQuery performance/cost, and managing LookML code through Git-based development and CI/CD practices.

Roles and Responsibilities
Architect, build and maintain robust, scalable LookML models, views, explores and dashboards as a centralized semantic layer.
Develop complex and optimized GoogleSQL queries using BigQuery capabilities such as partitioning, clustering and nested fields.
Optimize Looker performance and Google Cloud costs using Aggregate Awareness, Datagroups, caching policies and PDT persistence strategies.




Manage LookML development using Git, including branching, pull requests, code reviews and deployment workflows.
Collaborate with data engineering, analytics and business teams to translate requirements into scalable data and analytics solutions.
Ensure code quality, performance, maintainability and adherence to development standards.
Support troubleshooting and optimization of Looker/BigQuery performance issues.
Contribute to CI/CD implementation and continuous improvement of Looker development practices.
