Job Description:
Lead the design and development of Sheet Metal and Plastic components, including 3D modelling, drawing creation, and BOM generation, aligned with budget, timeline, and project resource constraints.
Own and drive the design release process including ECR/ECN management.
Apply deep understanding of manufacturing processes for Sheet Metal and Plastic components.
Utilize expertise in GD&T;, Tolerance Stack-up analysis, DFMEA, and engineering documentation.
Work independently with minimal supervision and demonstrate a solid learning curve to adapt to current technologies.
Manage multiple tasks simultaneously while ensuring high-quality, on-time deliverables.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and other product groups, requiring excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Work within PLM systems, preferably Teamcenter,



for part lifecycle and data management.
Provide root cause analysis and implement solutions to resolve technical challenges.
Stay updated with emerging technologies and trends in mechanical and product design.
Exposure to Electric Vehicle systems and components will be considered an added advantage.

Required Skills :
Experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer, preferably in product or component development.
Solid background in engineering drawings, 3D modelling, and design documentation.
In-depth knowledge and application of GD&T; per industry standards.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
