Key Responsibilities
Deliver engaging classroom and online training sessions for the ACCA Audit & Assurance (AA) paper.
Explain audit and assurance concepts using practical examples and real-world scenarios.
Cover the complete ACCA AA syllabus in accordance with the current ACCA examination structure.
Explain key areas including:
Audit framework and regulation
Skilled ethics and professional conduct
Internal controls and risk assessment
Audit planning
Audit evidence
Audit procedures
Sampling
Internal audit
Review engagements
Subsequent events
Going concern
Audit completion
Audit reports
Develop and deliver revision and exam-preparation sessions.
Prepare presentations, study notes, question banks, mock exams, and practice materials.
Guide students through ACCA past-examination questions and examiner-style scenarios.
Teach students how to apply skilled judgment and appropriate audit procedures to case-based questions.
Conduct regular quizzes, mock tests, and performance assessments.
Evaluate student answers and provide constructive, detailed feedback.
Identify individual learning gaps and provide additional mentoring where required.
Explain common examination mistakes and techniques for answering application-based questions.
Keep course content updated with changes to ACCA syllabus, examination format, auditing standards, and relevant professional requirements.
Required Qualifications
ACCA qualified / finalist / affiliate preferred.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field.
Robust knowledge of Audit & Assurance and international auditing principles.
2–5 years of relevant audit, assurance, accounting, or teaching experience.
Prior experience teaching ACCA students is highly preferred.
Strong understanding of ACCA examination requirements and question styles.
Excellent presentation, communication, and classroom-management skills.
