Accounts & Audit Assistant

We're opening a new office at Bhikaji Cama Place and building out the team from the ground up. As an Accounts & Audit Assistant here, you won't just process entries in a back office — you'll work directly on client books, sit in on GST and TDS filings, support audit fieldwork, and get exposure to a range of industries from day one.

About the Firm

We are a Chartered Accountancy firm serving a diverse portfolio of clients across compliance, audit, and advisory work. This new Delhi office is a growth bet — you'll be one of the first hires here, working closely with the partners as the practice scales.

About the Role

Twelve months in, you'll be independently managing bookkeeping and statutory compliance for a set of client accounts, comfortable handling GST/TDS filings end-to-end, and trusted to represent the firm during client-site visits and audit support without close supervision.

What You'll Do
Own day-to-day bookkeeping and voucher entry in Tally for a portfolio of client accounts
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B) and TDS returns (24Q/26Q) through the respective government portals




Perform bank reconciliations and manage accounts payable/receivable
Support statutory, tax, and internal audits, including preparing schedules and responding to audit queries
Assist with ROC/MCA compliance filings as needed
Visit client sites as required for audit fieldwork, document collection, and compliance coordination — regular local travel is part of this role

What We're Looking For

Required:
B.Com or M.Com in Accounting, Commerce, or a related field
1–3 years of accounting experience, ideally at a CA firm
Working proficiency with Tally and MS Excel
Experience navigating the GST portal for return filing
Comfortable with regular travel to client sites across Delhi NCR

Preferred:
CA-Inter (IPCC) qualified or actively pursuing, with articleship experience
Familiarity with TDS filing (TRACES) and basic ROC/MCA filing processes
Exposure to multiple client industries rather than a single-company accounts background
