Role & responsibilities
We are seeking a skilled and passionate SDET / Automation Test Engineer with 48 years of experience in Software Quality Engineering, specializing in Web and API Automation Testing.
The ideal candidate should possess solid hands-on expertise in Selenium with Java and API Automation to develop, execute, and maintain scalable automation solutions that ensure high-quality software delivery.
You will work closely with cross-functional Agile teams to drive quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts for web applications using Selenium with Java.
Develop and execute API automation test cases using Karate and ReadyAPI/SoapUI.
Analyze business and functional requirements to identify automation prospects.
Develop reusable and maintainable automation scripts by leveraging the existing automation framework.
Execute functional, regression, integration,



and end-to-end automation test suites.
Identify, log, track, and validate software defects using Jira.
Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to resolve defects efficiently.
Integrate automation test suites with GitHub Actions and Jenkins to support continuous testing.
Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
Analyze automation execution results, investigate failures, and perform root cause analysis.
Contribute to continuous improvement of automation frameworks, processes, and test coverage.
Execute browser compatibility testing using SauceLabs and Perfecto.
