Role & responsibilities
Design and development of internal, inter-plant, and returnable packaging such as bins, boxes, trolleys, and racks.
Estimation of logistics, transportation, packaging, and sequencing costs for current RFIs and RFQs.
Preparation and release of RFQs for packaging and logistics development activities.
Calculation of logistics requirements, storage norms, and turnaround time (TAT).
Development and implementation of customized storage solutions, including ASRS.
Define, analyze, and optimize material flow and part storage layouts.
Ensure packaging designs comply with ergonomics, safety norms, and customer standards.
Preparation of logistics sign-off documents as per customer requirements.
Coordination with suppliers, fabrication vendors, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred candidate profile
Solid knowledge of automotive packaging and logistics development
Understanding of ergonomics, fabrication processes, and storage systems
Proficiency in CAD tools and MS Office
Positive analytical, communication, and stakeholder coordination
