We are looking for an experienced Chief Business Officer (CBO) to lead the growth and strategic direction of an insurance broking and risk-advisory business.

Position: Chief Business Officer (CBO)

Location: MG Road, Bengaluru

Experience: 10+ Years

Key Responsibilities
Drive overall P&L;, business strategy, and growth of the insurance broking business.
Build and scale corporate insurance and risk-advisory portfolios through CXO/CFO relationships and corporate networks.
Lead key account acquisition, renewals, cross-selling, and revenue growth.
Develop robust relationships with insurers, underwriters, and industry stakeholders.
Oversee placement of complex corporate insurance and risk solutions.
Build, mentor, and lead high-performing broking, operations, and client-servicing teams.
Establish scalable processes, governance, compliance, and service standards.




Identify prospects across commercial insurance, employee benefits, and emerging risks.
Partner with group leadership on strategic growth initiatives.

Candidate Profile
10+ years of experience in General Insurance, Insurance Broking, Corporate Insurance, or Risk Advisory.
Robust corporate client relationships and a proven business-development track record.
Experience in revenue ownership, P&L; management, and team leadership.
Strong understanding of the General Insurance ecosystem, corporate risk, and insurer markets.
Prior Bengaluru experience preferred; Kannada language skills are an advantage.
Entrepreneurial and commercially driven, with experience building and scaling a business.
