Responsible for managing and overseeing the credit department within the branch
Evaluate and analyze creditworthiness of potential borrowers and provide recommendations to approve or decline credit applications
Review and monitor existing credit accounts to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Develop and implement strategies to minimize credit risk and optimize credit portfolio performance
Conduct regular credit reviews and provide recommendations for loan modifications or restructuring when necessary
Collaborate with sales and operations teams to facilitate smooth credit approval processes and to ensure timely and accurate credit decisions
Investigate and resolve customer credit issues and disputes in a timely manner
Stay updated with industry trends and regulations related to credit management
Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding credit portfolio performance and any potential risks or issues
