Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial reporting activities.
Ensure accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, reports, and MIS.
Handle statutory, internal, and financial audit activities and coordinate with auditors.
Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and statutory requirements.
Review and monitor accounting entries, ledgers, reconciliations, and financial records.
Coordinate with internal and external auditors and provide required information and documentation.
Monitor statutory compliance and ensure timely filing of applicable returns and reports.
Review financial data and identify discrepancies, control gaps, and areas requiring corrective action.
Support budgeting, financial planning, cash-flow management, and financial analysis as required.
Ensure proper maintenance and documentation of financial records.
Assist management with financial insights, analysis, and recommendations for business decision-making.
Monitor internal financial controls and recommend improvements in accounting and compliance processes.
Coordinate with banks, consultants, auditors, tax authorities, and other external stakeholders as required.
Keep track of changes in applicable accounting, taxation, and regulatory requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of financial, business, and organizational information.
Required Skills & Competencies
Solid knowledge of accounting, auditing, taxation, and statutory compliance.
Proven experience in handling financial accounting and audit activities.
Good understanding of financial reporting and applicable accounting standards.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to review financial data and identify discrepancies.
Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting/ERP software.
Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet statutory and reporting deadlines.
Strong understanding of internal controls and financial processes.
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and skilled judgment.
Educational Qualification
Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline will be preferred.
Experience
Minimum 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience in accounting, audit, taxation, financial reporting, or compliance.
Pay: ₹66,000.00 - ₹125,000.00 per month
