Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV)

Perform business valuations for closely held and middle-market companies.
Analyze financial statements and underlying business performance while applying appropriate qualified judgment rather than relying solely on GAAP-based analysis.
Perform market approach and comparable company/transaction analysis .
Research industry, market, and transaction data to support valuation conclusions.
Develop and review valuation models, financial analyses, and supporting schedules.
Support M&A; advisory and exit planning engagements .
Analyze transaction multiples, EBITDA, revenue, cash flows, and other relevant valuation metrics.




Work with valuation databases such as DealStats and Capital IQ .
Identify and evaluate relevant comparable companies and precedent transactions.
Prepare client-ready valuation reports, presentations, and supporting documentation.
Communicate directly with clients and other stakeholders when required.
Independently manage assigned engagements, timelines, and deliverables with minimal supervision.
Exercise sound judgment when working with incomplete or ambiguous information.
Leverage AI tools and models to improve research, analysis, efficiency, and quality of deliverables.
Maintain high standards of accuracy, confidentiality, and professionalism.
