Experience
Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in Credit Analysis, Project Finance, Infrastructure Lending, or Financial Advisory/Modeling

Job Overview

We are seeking a highly analytical and forward-thinking Credit Analyst specializing in Project Finance to evaluate non-recourse and limited-recourse financing proposals for large-scale infrastructure, energy, industrial, and real estate projects. The role involves building complex cash flow models, assessing project viability, conducting risk sensitivity analyses, and drafting credit approval notes. The ideal candidate combines robust accounting and financial fundamentals with advanced Excel modeling skills, structured credit-memo writing in Word, and proficiency with up-to-date AI/Generative AI tools for research and documentation.

Roles
Build, audit, and maintain detailed multi-year financial models in Excel tailored to project finance, incorporating debt sizing, waterfall structures, DSCR/LLCR, IRR, sensitivity/scenario analyses, and drawdowns
Review project contracts (PPAs, EPC contracts, O&M; agreements, concession agreements) to identify financial, operational,



and off-taker risks
Evaluate sponsor credibility, equity commitment, debt capacity, and project cash-flow predictability
Draft comprehensive, executive-level credit memos, appraisal notes, and term sheets
Present credit proposals to the Risk Committee with transparent risk mitigation strategies and covenant recommendations
Track project implementation milestones, cost overruns, construction delays, and disbursement conditions
Monitor ongoing financial covenants, debt service performance, and annual credit reviews for existing assets
Use Generative AI/LLM tools (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, specialized financial AI) to synthesize legal documents, regulatory filings, and market reports
Leverage AI to accelerate secondary research, draft preliminary risk summaries, and analyze unstructured industry data while maintaining confidentiality and compliance

Qualification:
CA Inter (ICAI or equivalent) / CMA, OR MBA in Finance / PGDM (Finance) from a recognized institute
CFA or FRM certification is a plus
