Study drawings, process sheets and CNC programmes before machining.
Set chuck/fixture, tools, tool offsets and work coordinates.
Load and verify CNC turning programmes.
Perform first-off machining and coordinate inspection.
Adjust tool offsets and approved cutting parameters to maintain dimensions.
Monitor tool wear, burrs, surface finish and dimensional variation.
Carry out tool changes and basic machine troubleshooting.
Maintain component identification and traceability.
Handle precision components carefully and prevent damage or mix-up.
Maintain machine cleanliness,



tooling and workplace housekeeping.
Record production and inspection information.
CNC turning machine setting and operation.
Tool selection, tool offsets and cutting parameters.
Drawing/GD&T; interpretation.
Precision turning of close-tolerance components.
First-off and in-process inspection.
Use of vernier, micrometer, bore gauge and related instruments.
Tool-wear and machining-defect identification.
5S, safety, traceability and disciplined work practices.
