Databricks Center of Excellence Lead

Location: Mumbai, India

Reporting to: CTO

Role Overview

We are hiring a hands-on Databricks CoE Lead to develop and scale our modern data platform capabilities. This is a manager-level role (5–7 years of experience) with a robust focus on active contribution to client delivery.

You will play a key role in delivering data and AI platforms while structuring our

Databricks expertise.

We are a privileged partner of Databricks, OpenAI, and Anthropic, enabling cutting-edge end-to-end data + AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the creation and scaling of the Databricks Center of Excellence
Be hands-on in delivery: build and implement data platforms and pipelines
Design and deploy Lakehouse architectures using Databricks
Deliver end-to-end use cases: data engineering, ML pipelines, analytics




Act as a technical expert in client engagements
Build reusable assets, accelerators, and best practices
Mentor team members while remaining actively involved in projects
Report directly to the CTO and contribute to capability building

Required Qualifications
5–7 years of experience in data engineering / data platforms / AI
Robust hands-on expertise in Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow, etc.)
Databricks certifications preferred
Proven experience delivering client-facing data projects
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Robust problem-solving and stakeholder communication skill
