About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Operator to support day-to-day electrical operations, equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance activities at our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
Operate and monitor electrical systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure smooth plant operations.
Carry out routine inspection of electrical panels, motors, pumps, DG sets, transformers, and other electrical equipment.
Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment.
Identify electrical faults and carry out troubleshooting and rectification.
Monitor electrical parameters and ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment.
Attend to electrical breakdowns and minimize equipment downtime.
Perform basic electrical testing using appropriate tools and instruments.
Maintain electrical maintenance records, checklists, and logbooks.
Coordinate with the maintenance and production teams for timely resolution of electrical issues.




Ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures and plant safety standards.
Follow proper LOTO (Lockout/Tagout) and other safety practices while carrying out maintenance activities.
Support installation, commissioning, and modification of electrical equipment as required.
Maintain positive housekeeping in electrical and maintenance areas.

Required Skills
Good knowledge of industrial electrical systems and maintenance.
Hands-on experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment and control panels.
Knowledge of motors, starters, contactors, relays, MCC/PCC panels, sensors, and basic control systems.
Ability to read and understand electrical wiring diagrams and circuit drawings.
Knowledge of electrical safety practices.
Positive problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently as well as coordinate with the maintenance team.
Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Eligibility
Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering.
4–5 years of relevant experience in electrical operations/maintenance in a manufacturing or industrial workplace.
Candidates with hands-on experience in plant electrical maintenance will be preferred.
