Role & responsibilities
Product strategy: Define the DFMA roadmap, including which systems and assemblies to standardize, offsite-build, and scale.
P&L; ownership: Own revenue, margin, and cost targets for the product line, including pricing models and business cases.
Design and standardization: Partner with engineering and preconstruction to develop repeatable, configurable designs that can be adapted across client specs and sites.
Manufacturing and supply chain: Manage relationships with fabrication partners, in-house facilities, and key equipment vendors (switchgear, generators, chillers, etc.), including capacity planning and lead-time strategy.
Quality and commissioning: Establish factory QA/QC, testing, and integrated commissioning processes so modules arrive site-ready.
Project delivery integration: Work with project teams to coordinate logistics, site readiness, installation,
and field integration of prefabricated components.
Client engagement: Support business development and pursuits by presenting the DFMA offering to hyperscale, colocation, and enterprise clients.
Team leadership: Build and lead a cross-functional team across design, procurement, manufacturing, and operations.
Continuous improvement: Track KPIs (schedule savings, cost variance, safety, rework) and use lessons learned to refine the product line.
Preferred candidate profile
Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field
Familiarity with BIM, lean construction, and Design for X methodologies
Experience with hyperscale clients and their standards
Background in commissioning and offsite testing
