The overall objective of this role is to drive applications systems analysis. architecture and engineering activities.Responsibilities:Manage multiple teams of professionals to accomplish established goals and conduct personnel duties for team (e.G. performance evaluations, hiring and disciplinary actions)Provide strategic influence and exercise control over resources, budget management and planning while monitoring end resultsEnsure essential procedures are followed and contribute to defining standardsIntegrate in-depth knowledge of applications development with overall technology function to achieve established goalsProvide evaluative judgement based on analysis of facts in complicated, unique, and dynamic situations including drawing from internal and external sourcesInfluence and negotiate with senior leaders across functions, as well as communicate with external parties as necessaryAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy,

You will be primarily focused onEvolving the architecture of the platform to meet new business needsEvolving the developer experience for teams adopting the services offered by the platform to make it as simple as possible to adopt and enhance their usageSupport other MOT teams in adopting the platform as effectively and efficiently as possible.Implementing working practices that ensure the platform is always up to date with security patchesEnsuring that the platform engineering applies modern engineering practices including BDD. TDD.
