As the business enters its next phase of growth, it is looking to appoint a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to strengthen operations, drive manufacturing excellence and build a scalable operating platform.

Job Description

Reporting into the CEO, you shall

- Lead multi-site manufacturing operations, driving performance across productivity, quality, cost, delivery, capacity utilisation and asset effectiveness.
- Build a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement through Lean Manufacturing, TPM, Six Sigma and other best practices.
- Drive improvements in manufacturing flow, yields, machine utilisation, manpower productivity, scrap reduction and overall equipment effectiveness.
- Strengthen quality systems and process discipline, with a strong focus on right-first-time manufacturing, root-cause analysis and customer quality requirements.
- Lead supply chain and strategic sourcing, enhancing supplier capability, cost competitiveness, reliability and supply resilience.
- Champion technology, automation and digitalisation, including advanced CNC machining, robotics,



additive manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives.
- Leverage ERP and data-driven performance management to improve visibility, planning and decision-making.
- Build and develop a strong operations leadership team while strengthening technical capability, workforce productivity and succession planning.
- Ensure high standards of EHS, statutory compliance, facilities management and sustainability across operations.
- Partner with the CEO on capacity expansion, capital investments, annual operating plans and large-scale transformation initiatives.

The Successful Applicant

- 20+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience, including responsibility for complex and large-scale operations.
- B.E/B. Tech Engineering Degree
- Strong experience in precision components / precision engineering or related sectors such as automotive components, aerospace, industrial engineering, medical devices or other high-precision manufacturing environments.
- Proven track record of leading multi-site operations, manufacturing scale-up and operational transformation.
- Strong understanding of CNC machining, advanced manufacturing, automation and contemporary manufacturing technologies.
