Job Description Job Description

We are looking for a Java Developer with 1-2 years of experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications and REST APIs. The candidate should have robust Java fundamentals and hands-on experience with Spring Boot and databases.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of Core Java, Advanced Java, OOP, Collections, Exception Handling, and Java 8+ features (Streams, Lambda, Optional).
- Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Dependency Injection, and REST API development.
- Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, HTTP methods/status codes, API validation, and error handling.
- Strong SQL knowledge and hands-on experience with PostgreSQL.
- Working knowledge of MongoDB and NoSQL concepts.
- Hands-on exposure to Kafka or similar messaging technologies and basic understanding of producers, consumers, topics, and consumer groups.
- Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and frontend-backend integration.
- Knowledge of Git, Maven/Gradle, unit testing, debugging, logging, and troubleshooting.




- Basic understanding of microservices, Docker, CI/CD, and cloud concepts is an advantage.
- Understanding of clean code, SOLID principles, design patterns, and secure coding practices is preferred.

Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Java/Spring Boot applications and REST APIs.
- Design and implement database solutions using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Integrate applications using Kafka/messaging systems.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve application issues.
- Write unit tests and maintain clean, reusable, and scalable code.
- Collaborate with BAs, QA, architects, DevOps, and other developers.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical design discussions.

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech/BCA/B.Sc. in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
- 12 years of professional Java development experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Java/Spring Boot certifications are an advantage but not mandatory.
