Job Overview

we are looking for experienced Data Center / Telecom Field Engineers and Field Technicians to support data-center build, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and break-fix projects at customer sites.

The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in data-center infrastructure, fiber optics, structured cabling, network equipment installation, fiber testing, and hardware troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and break-fix activities at customer data-center sites.
- Install and manage racks, chassis, PDUs, servers, routers, switches, and associated network infrastructure.
- Install and maintain fiber-optic and structured cabling infrastructure.
- Work with LC, SC, MPO/MTP, Single Mode (SM), and Multimode (MM) fiber.
- Perform fiber testing, inspection, and troubleshooting using OTDR, VFL, OPM, OLS, and Fiberscope.
- Perform network and optical testing using tools/technologies such as BERT, RFC2544, iPerf, and Y.1564.
- Carry out hardware replacement and troubleshoot network, fiber, and equipment-related issues.
- Read, understand, and execute MOPs (Method of Procedure) as per customer requirements.
- Maintain proper documentation of installation, testing, troubleshooting, and completed activities.
- Follow data-center safety, security,



and operational procedures.

- Hands-on Data Center / Telecom field experience
- Fiber Optics and Structured Cabling
- Single Mode / Multimode Fiber
- LC / SC / MPO / MTP
- Rack, chassis, and PDU installation
- Server / Router / Switch handling
- Fiber testing and troubleshooting
- Hands-on OTDR experience
- Hardware replacement and break-fix troubleshooting
- Ability to read and execute MOPs
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work at customer data-center sites
- Preferred Skills

- VFL, OPM, OLS, and Fiberscope
- BERT, RFC2544, iPerf, and Y.1564
- Network/Optical testing experience
- Data-center deployment or migration experience
- Optical transport equipment experience
- CCNA or relevant technical certification
- Ideal Candidate

Candidates from Data Center, Telecom, Network Infrastructure, Fiber Optics, Structured Cabling, IT Infrastructure Services, or System Integration backgrounds are preferred.

The role is highly hands-on and site-based, so candidates with practical field experience are preferred over candidates with only NOC, remote monitoring, or theoretical networking experience.
