About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior HR Manager who can independently manage and strengthen the end-to-end HR function of the organization.

This is a managerial and ownership-driven role requiring an HR professional with strong experience across Talent Acquisition, HR Operations, Statutory Compliance, Payroll Coordination, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Policies and Documentation.

The ideal candidate should be an HR all-rounder who is equally comfortable hiring the right talent, handling employee matters, coordinating payroll and attendance, managing statutory requirements, building HR processes and ensuring that policies are practically implemented across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

- Manage the complete recruitment lifecycle across departments and levels.
- Understand manpower requirements in coordination with department heads and management.
- Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, consultants, referrals and other relevant channels.
- Conduct initial screening, HR interviews, salary discussions and offer negotiations.
- Coordinate functional interviews and ensure timely closure of open positions.
- Manage offer letters, documentation, background verification and joining formalities.
- Build and maintain an effective talent pipeline for current and future requirements.
- Monitor recruitment metrics including time-to-hire, source effectiveness and offer-to-joining ratio.

HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle

- Independently manage employee lifecycle processes from onboarding to separation.
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation, personnel files and HR databases/MIS.
- Manage attendance, leaves, regularisation, probation, confirmation, transfers, increments and employee movements.
- Coordinate monthly payroll inputs and ensure accuracy of attendance, leaves, deductions, incentives and other payroll-related information.
- Handle Full & Final settlements, relieving documentation and exit formalities.
- Conduct structured onboarding, induction and exit interviews.

Statutory Compliance





- Ensure timely and accurate compliance with applicable labour and employment laws.
- Handle and coordinate PF, ESIC, Professional Tax, Labour Welfare Fund, gratuity, bonus and other applicable statutory requirements.
- Coordinate statutory registrations, renewals, filings, challans and employee-related compliance documentation.
- Liaise with payroll partners, consultants, government portals and external agencies wherever required.
- Maintain statutory registers, records and compliance documentation and keep them audit-ready.
- Track amendments in applicable labour laws and ensure necessary changes are implemented internally.
- Support management in responding to labour, employment and compliance-related notices or inspections in coordination with relevant advisors.

HR Policies & Process Management

- Draft, review and implement HR policies, SOPs, employee handbooks and internal HR processes.
- Ensure policies are communicated clearly and implemented consistently across departments.
- Identify gaps in existing HR processes and recommend practical improvements.
- Establish appropriate approval workflows, documentation standards and internal HR controls.
- Ensure HR practices remain aligned with applicable laws and organizational requirements.

Employee Relations & Engagement

- Act as a point of contact between employees and management for HR-related matters.
- Address employee concerns, workplace issues and grievances professionally and confidentially.
- Support disciplinary processes, counselling, warning letters and performance-related documentation wherever required.
- Drive employee engagement, communication and retention initiatives.
- Promote a professional, accountable and positive workplace culture.

Performance Management

- Coordinate performance review and appraisal cycles across departments.
- Work with managers to establish KRAs/KPIs and structured performance expectations.
- Track probation reviews, confirmations and performance improvement requirements.




- Support Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and related documentation.
- Assist management with increments, promotions and performance-linked decisions through structured HR inputs.

HR MIS & Management Reporting

- Maintain HR dashboards and MIS covering headcount, recruitment, attrition, attendance, leaves, payroll inputs and other key HR metrics.
- Provide periodic HR reports and insights to management.
- Monitor manpower costs, hiring status and employee movement.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and documentation.

Required Experience & Skills

- 6-8 years of progressive HR experience, preferably with independent ownership of HR functions.
- Strong hands-on experience in Recruitment and Statutory Compliance is essential.
- Practical knowledge of PF, ESIC, payroll processes and applicable labour/employment compliances.
- Experience handling end-to-end employee lifecycle and HR operations.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, documentation and employee relations.
- Experience working with HRMS/payroll systems and job portals.
- Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets and HR MIS.
- Strong communication, negotiation and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive employee matters professionally.
- Strong execution, follow-up and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently while coordinating closely with management and department heads.

Educational Qualification

- Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management or a related discipline.
- MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent qualification will be preferred.

What We Are Looking For

We are specifically looking for a hands-on HR professional rather than someone limited to one HR specialization.

The person should be capable of taking ownership of the HR function, switching comfortably between recruitment, compliance, employee matters, payroll coordination, policies and management requirements, and ensuring that HR processes are executed accurately and on time.

The role is suited for someone who combines strong people management with process discipline and compliance awareness and can help build a structured, scalable HR function as the organization grows.
