Job Title: Software Engineer

About the Role
We’re looking for a Software Engineer with strong Data Engineering experience to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data infrastructure, is comfortable in AWS, and wants to grow into advanced data processing with technologies like Python, Spark, and streaming.

You’ll help design and scale data pipelines that integrate data from 100+ sources, power analytics, and drive business decisions across the company.

What You’ll Do

- Build and maintain scalable data ingestion and transformation pipelines
- Work with AWS-native services to move and store data efficiently (e.g., S3, Lambda, ECS, Glue, EMR)
- Collaborate with engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to define data models and interfaces
- Design with future expansion in mind – Python-based processing, and
- Ensure reliability, data quality, lineage, and observability across our data workflows

Tech Stack

- Current: AWS, TypeScript (Node.js), Postgres, S3
- On the Roadmap: Python, Apache Spark, Iceberg/Hudi on S3

What We’re Looking For

- 2–5 years of experience in software or data engineering
- Solid AWS experience, especially with data services (e.g., S3, Glue, Lambda,



Step Functions)
- Familiarity with ELT/ETL pipelines and modern data architectures
- Willingness to learn and grow into Python-based data processing and distributed systems (Spark, streaming)
- Strong SQL and data modelling fundamentals
- Experience with version control, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform)

Nice to Have

- Exposure to Python for data workflows
- Experience with data lake formats (Iceberg/Hudi), or event-driven architectures
- Knowledge of data observability, cataloging, or governance tools
- Understanding of secure data practices and secrets management (e.g., AWS Secrets Manager)
