We are looking for experienced LaTeX Copyeditors and Language Editors with a background in academic or publishing work. The ideal candidate should have strong English language skills, good knowledge of LaTeX, and experience editing academic, scientific, or technical content.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform language editing and copyediting of academic, scientific, and technical manuscripts.
- Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation, syntax, and sentence structure while preserving the author's meaning.
- Improve clarity, readability, and consistency of the manuscript.
- Work on manuscripts prepared in LaTeX and identify and correct LaTeX coding and formatting issues.
- Check equations, references, citations, tables, figures, headings, and cross-references.
- Follow project-specific style guides and editorial instructions.
- Ensure consistency in terminology, abbreviations, formatting, and overall presentation.
- Perform thorough quality checks before final submission.

Requirements

- 1–3 years of experience in language editing,



copyediting, or LaTeX editing.
- Solid command of written English.
- Good working knowledge of LaTeX and LaTeX document structure.
- Experience with academic publishing, STM publishing, journals, books, or scientific/technical content is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain consistency throughout a manuscript.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with academic journals or scholarly books.
- Familiarity with publisher style guides and editorial workflows.
- Knowledge of references, citations, equations, tables, and figure-related content.
- Experience working on XML/LaTeX-based publishing workflows is an advantage.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹32,000.00 per month
