We are building a strong digital presence to communicate our brand, initiatives, services, and opportunities to a growing NRI audience. We are looking for a creative and proactive Social Media Executive who can take ownership of the company's day-to-day social media presence and turn ideas and instructions from the leadership team into engaging digital content.

About the Role

We are looking for someone who understands social media beyond simply uploading posts.

The ideal candidate should have a good understanding of platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and YouTube, be comfortable using Canva, and have basic knowledge of graphic design and video editing.

You will work closely with the founder and marketing team to understand content requirements, create or adapt content, schedule and publish posts, and continuously look for ways to improve the company's reach and engagement.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage the company's day-to-day social media accounts and ensure consistent posting.
- Create and publish posts, stories, reels, carousels, and other social media content.
- Design social media creatives using Canva while maintaining the company's brand identity.
- Convert ideas, instructions, announcements, and information provided by the founder into visually appealing social media content.
- Write or assist with captions, headlines, hooks, hashtags, and calls-to-action.
- Perform basic editing of reels, short videos, images, and other digital content.
- Research current social media trends, formats, sounds, topics, and content styles relevant to the brand.
- Have a practical understanding of how Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and other platforms work, including content formats, engagement, reach, and audience behaviour.




- Stay updated with changes in social media algorithms, trends, and best practices.
- Maintain a content calendar and ensure posts are published on time.
- Monitor basic performance metrics such as reach, impressions, views, engagement, and follower growth.
- Analyse which types of content perform well and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate with the founder/marketing team for content requirements, approvals, and revisions.
- Maintain an organized library of social media creatives, videos, templates, and brand assets.
- Ensure all published content is accurate, professional, visually consistent, and aligned with the company's brand image.

Required Skills

- Good understanding of social media platforms, particularly Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Practical knowledge of Canva for creating social media posts and creatives.
- Basic graphic design knowledge and a good sense of visual aesthetics.
- Basic video/reel editing skills using tools such as CapCut, Canva, VN, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
- Understanding of social media trends and content formats.
- Basic understanding of social media algorithms, reach, engagement, and content performance.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to write clear and engaging captions and social media copy.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to understand instructions and execute them accurately.
- Creativity and willingness to experiment with new content ideas.
- Ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and handle multiple content requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Mass Communication, Business, Digital Marketing, or a related field.
- Previous experience managing a company's or personal social media account.
- Experience creating Instagram Reels,



carousels, stories, and other short-form content.
- Familiarity with Meta Business Suite or other social media scheduling tools.
- Basic knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.
- Experience working with a founder, marketing team, or growing organization is an advantage.
- A portfolio or examples of previous social media work will be preferred.

We are looking for someone who is creative, responsible, proactive, and willing to learn.

You don't need to be an expert graphic designer or a skilled video editor. However, you should be comfortable with Canva, understand what makes social media content engaging, and be capable of turning a simple instruction into a polished piece of content.

The right candidate should not wait for instructions for every small task. They should be able to say, “Here is what was requested, and here is how I think we can make it better.”

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
