Job Summary We are looking for a technically skilled Assistant Maintenance Engineer to support the smooth and reliable operation of production machinery, plant utilities and electrical/mechanical systems in our food manufacturing facility. Key Responsibilities Carry out preventive, breakdown and corrective maintenance of plant machinery. Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical breakdowns and minimize machine downtime. Handle maintenance of motors, pumps, gearboxes, conveyors, compressors, packaging machines, sensors, panels and related equipment. Support maintenance of plant utilities such as DG, compressor, boiler/steam system, refrigeration/chiller and water systems, as applicable. Execute preventive maintenance schedules and maintain proper maintenance records. Identify recurring breakdowns and support Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and corrective actions. Coordinate with Production and Quality teams for maintenance activities. Maintain required spares, tools and consumables. Coordinate with external vendors/service technicians when required. Support installation, commissioning and modification of new machinery. Follow GMP, food hygiene, safety, 5S and company maintenance procedures. Ensure maintenance work does not create any foreign-material or contamination risk in production areas. Prepare maintenance reports,



checklists and equipment history. Required Qualification Diploma / B.Tech / B.E. in Mechanical / Electrical / Mechatronics or relevant technical qualification. 2–5 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience. Experience in Food / FMCG / Manufacturing / Process Industry will be preferred. Required Skills Mechanical & electrical troubleshooting Preventive & breakdown maintenance Motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes and compressors Basic knowledge of PLC, VFD, sensors and control panels Maintenance planning and documentation Problem-solving and RCA Vendor coordination Knowledge of GMP / food-industry hygiene and safety will be an advantage. Candidate Profile Valuable technical and troubleshooting skills. Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good coordination with Production and other departments. Willing to work in shifts and attend emergency breakdowns when required. Salary: ₹25,000–₹35,000 per month, depending on experience and technical skills.
