Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer to design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines and data models that support analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in modern data engineering technologies, distributed data systems, and cloud-based data platforms, with a passion for transforming raw data into reliable, business-ready insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
- Build and manage DBT models that deliver trusted datasets, metrics, and features for analytics and machine learning.
- Develop and optimize data processing solutions using Databricks, PySpark, and SQL.
- Orchestrate end-to-end workflows using Airflow and Prefect.
- Collaborate closely with Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and Analytics teams to support data-driven initiatives.
- Ensure data quality, reliability, performance, and scalability across all data systems.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, documentation, and best-practice implementation.
- Optimize data infrastructure for growing business and operational needs.




- Support the development of AI-powered and machine learning data solutions.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of experience in Data Engineering.
- Strong expertise in SQL and distributed data processing systems.
- Hands-on experience with DBT, Databricks, PySpark, and Airflow.
- Experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines in production environments.
- Knowledge of data lakehouse architectures such as Delta Lake or Apache Iceberg.
- Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform, AWS CDK, or Pulumi.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, performance optimization, and data governance.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced workplace.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with streaming technologies such as Kinesis or similar platforms.
- Exposure to MLOps, machine learning infrastructure, or AI-driven data solutions.
- Experience supporting Data Science teams and feature engineering workflows.
- Familiarity with contemporary AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code, or similar tools.
- Experience working with global or distributed teams.
