Indcoil Transformers Pvt. Ltd. is a 50+ year-old established manufacturer of oil-filled and dry-type transformers, serving leading government, infrastructure and private-sector customers across India.

Role Overview

We are looking for a Purchase Manager to handle procurement and vendor coordination for our transformer manufacturing operations. The candidate should have prior purchasing experience in a manufacturing or engineering company and be comfortable independently managing day-to-day procurement activities.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle procurement of raw materials, components, consumables and engineering items required for manufacturing.
- Float enquiries, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements and negotiate prices, payment terms and delivery schedules with vendors.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders and ensure timely delivery through regular vendor follow-up.
- Coordinate with Planning, Production, Stores and Quality teams for material requirements and priorities.
- Develop new vendors and maintain relationships with existing suppliers.
- Monitor pending POs, shortages and critical materials to avoid delays in production.




- Maintain purchase records, vendor quotations, PO documentation and price history.
- Support cost reduction and alternate vendor development without compromising quality or delivery.

Qualification & Experience

- Graduate / Diploma / BE in Engineering, Commerce or Management.
- 3–4 years of Purchase/Procurement experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience in electrical equipment, transformers, switchgear, control panels, engineering or capital goods will be preferred.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel and purchase documentation.

Desired Skills

Strong vendor negotiation, commercial understanding, follow-up and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple purchase requirements and delivery commitments simultaneously.

Work Location: Wagle Estate, Thane

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
