Job Summary
We are looking for a customer-friendly, energetic, and target-driven Sales Representative to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will assist customers in selecting fabrics and apparel, manage store displays, handle counter billing smoothly, and help drive daily store sales.
Key Responsibilities

- Customer Assistance & Engagement:
- Greet customers warmly as they enter the store and understand their preferences, occasions, and budgets.
- Recommend appropriate sarees, dress materials, ethnic wear, or readymade garments.
- Demonstrate product features, fabric quality, color fastness, and styling options effectively.
- Store Operations & Merchandising:
- Keep the sales floor, shelves, racks, and display windows clean, organized, and fully stocked.
- Assist in sorting, tagging, pricing, and arranging recent textile inventory arrivals.
- Monitor stock levels and report fast-moving or low-stock items to the store manager.
- Sales & Billing Support:
- Strive to achieve daily and monthly individual and team sales targets.
- Assist customers during trials and handle billing, packaging, and cash/digital counter transactions accurately.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Build long-term relationships with regular shoppers to encourage repeat business and brand loyalty.
- Handle customer feedback or queries politely,



escalating complex issues to management promptly.

Candidate Requirements

- Education: Minimum Higher Secondary (Plus Two) or equivalent education. Graduates are also welcome to apply.
- Experience:
- 0 to 2 years of retail sales experience (Prior experience in a textile shop, boutique, or readymade garment showroom is a strong advantage).
- Freshers with pleasant communication and a keen interest in fashion retail are welcome to apply.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in Malayalam is mandatory. Working knowledge of Tamil and English is a strong plus.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal, persuasive, and customer-handling skills.
- Appearance: Neat, professional grooming suited for a customer-facing retail environment.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods and assist with physical inventory handling.
