- Role Name: ITI Maintenance Fitter

- Experience: 2 to 5+ years of hands-on mechanical maintenance in a manufacturing, process plant, or pump assembly/service industry
- Core Goal: Keep centrifugal, gear, and dosing pumps running smoothly while fixing breakdowns quickly

Key Responsibilities

- Preventive Maintenance: Run scheduled maintenance checks on centrifugal pumps, vertical pumps, submersible pumps, and related gearboxes or motors.
- Repair & Overhauling: Disassemble faulty pumps, inspect internal parts, and replace worn-out components like mechanical seals, bearings, impellers, shafts, and O-rings.
- Alignment & Fitting:



Perform accurate shaft-to-shaft and motor-to-pump alignments using dial gauges or laser tools to reduce vibration.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnose unusual noises, low discharge pressure, overheating, or leakage issues during plant operations.
- Piping & Assembly: Fit, connect, and align suction and discharge pipe systems (MS, SS, or PVC) without stress on pump nozzles.
- Safety Compliance: Follow strict plant safety rules, use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean workshop.
