About Position:

We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Teams Collaboration Migration Consultant to lead enterprise collaboration transformation initiatives involving migration from Slack to Microsoft Teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for migration assessments, readiness planning, governance implementation, platform modernization, adoption strategy, and user enablement to ensure a seamless transition to Microsoft Teams.

What You'll Do:

- Assess existing Slack environments, including workspaces, channels, users, applications, bots, integrations, and workflows.
- Analyze collaboration patterns, business processes, and platform dependencies.
- Develop comprehensive Slack-to-Teams migration strategies and transition roadmaps.
- Define Microsoft Teams architecture, governance frameworks, security controls, and collaboration standards.
- Design migration approaches for channels, files, conversations, applications, and collaboration workloads.




- Identify migration dependencies, risks, technical gaps, and remediation requirements.
- Configure Microsoft Teams environments, collaboration policies, and user settings.
- Support migration and integration activities across Microsoft 365 services.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand collaboration requirements and future-state objectives.
- Develop user adoption, communication, and enablement strategies to drive platform acceptance.
- Conduct workshops, training programs, and knowledge transfer sessions for end users and administrators.
- Implement governance standards covering lifecycle management, compliance, security, and retention policies.
- Integrate Teams with enterprise applications, workflows, and Microsoft 365 services.
- Support Teams Meetings, collaboration workspaces, and modern workplace initiatives.
- Monitor adoption metrics and recommend continuous improvement opportunities.
- Create technical documentation, migration guides, operational procedures, and governance artifacts.
- Provide post-migration support and optimization recommendations.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- 8 to 12 years of experience in Microsoft 365, collaboration technologies, or digital workplace consulting.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Teams and Microsoft 365 solutions.
- Proven experience delivering Slack-to-Teams migration projects.
- Strong expertise in Microsoft Teams collaboration capabilities, channels, meetings, applications, and governance.
- Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and tenant-level configuration.
- Knowledge of Teams governance, compliance, security, and lifecycle management best practices.
- Experience assessing collaboration platforms and creating migration readiness plans.
- Strong understanding of collaboration architecture and workplace modernization initiatives.
- Experience with Teams applications, connectors,



third-party integrations, and workflow modernization.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Graph and Microsoft 365 integration capabilities.
- Experience working with SharePoint Online and Microsoft collaboration ecosystems.
- Familiarity with Power Automate and process automation solutions.
- Strong stakeholder management and client communication skills.
- Experience facilitating executive workshops, user training sessions, and adoption programs.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver within project timelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
