Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Production Manager to oversee factory production operations for interior and modular furniture projects. The candidate will manage production planning, manpower, quality control, and timely project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and manage daily production activities at the interior factory.
- Prepare and verify detailed cutting lists based on approved production drawings and BOQ.
- Calculate panel sizes, quantities and cutting requirements for plywood, MDF, HDHMR and other boards.
- Optimize cutting layouts to minimize material wastage and improve material utilization.
- Coordinate cutting-list requirements with the CNC/CAD-CAM and machine operators.
- Coordinate CNC, cutting, edge banding, drilling, assembly and finishing processes.
- Prepare and monitor production schedules based on project requirements.
- Coordinate with Design, Estimation, Purchase, Site and Project teams.
- Allocate manpower and monitor worker productivity.
- Ensure production is completed within the planned time, quantity and quality standards.
- Check drawings, measurements, BOQ and production requirements before manufacturing.
- Monitor raw materials, hardware, laminates and other production materials.
- Reduce material wastage and control production costs.
- Conduct quality checks at different stages of production.
- Identify production issues and take corrective action.




- Maintain proper factory discipline, safety and housekeeping.
- Coordinate packing, dispatch and delivery of finished products to project sites.
- Maintain daily production reports and communicate progress to management.
- Handle production team, carpenters, machine operators, supervisors and helpers.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of modular furniture and interior production.
- Experience in cutting list preparation and material optimization.
- Good knowledge of CNC / CAD-CAM / panel processing.
- Ability to read and understand interior, furniture and production drawings.
- Good understanding of plywood, MDF, HDHMR, laminates, hardware and furniture fittings.
- Robust production planning and manpower-management skills.
- Ability to identify drawing/cutting errors before production.
- Strong problem-solving and team-management skills.
- Ability to work under project deadlines.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.

Experience

3–6 years of relevant experience in interior furniture / modular furniture / factory production.
