About Resollect
Resollect is a legal-tech platform that helps banks, NBFCs and asset reconstruction companies (ARCs) recover non-performing loans. We handle the full recovery process, including legal notices, SARFAESI actions and DRT matters. We do this through our software and a nationwide network of advocates who work on the ground. We're backed by Antler and growing fast, so interns work on live matters from day one.
About the Role
This internship is about reviewing documents, not drafting them or working in court. You'll be the final quality check on legal notices before they reach borrowers. That means checking every notice against the underlying loan documents so that names, amounts, dates and property details are correct and consistent. You'll also support the legal operations team with day-to-day tracking and coordination.
Key Responsibilities
- Review SARFAESI notices under Sections 13(2) and 13(4), and Section 138 NI Act demand notices, before they are sent out.
- Check notice details against loan documents such as sanction letters, loan agreements, account statements, mortgage and security documents, and guarantor records.
- Verify borrower, co-borrower and guarantor details, loan account numbers, outstanding amounts, NPA dates and property descriptions.
- Flag mismatches, missing documents and errors,
and coordinate with internal teams to get them fixed.
- Support legal operations by updating case trackers, tracking timelines and following up with advocates on status.
- Maintain accurate records and MIS in Excel or Google Sheets.
Who We're Looking For
- A law student (3rd year or above of the 5-year course, or 2nd year or above of the 3-year LL.B.) or a recent graduate.
- Basic understanding of the SARFAESI Act, the Negotiable Instruments Act (Section 138) and banking or contract law.
- Strong attention to detail, including the ability to spot a wrong date or figure across many documents.
- Ability to read and understand loan and security documents.
- Working knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets.
- Able to manage high-volume work without losing accuracy.
- Available to work on-site in Mumbai for at least 3 months.
Good to Have
- An earlier internship with a bank, NBFC, ARC, law firm or recovery or litigation team.
- Experience reviewing legal notices or loan files.
- Familiarity with DRT procedures or DM/CMM office processes under Section 14.
What You'll Gain
- Hands-on experience with real banking and recovery matters across India.
- Practical knowledge of SARFAESI and NPA recovery workflows that few law students get to see.
- Mentorship from a legal and operations team at a quick-growing legal-tech startup.
- An internship certificate, with the option to extend to 6 months for strong performers, and a possible pre-placement offer (PPO).
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
