The Arts Quotient (TAQ) is looking for a freelance Video Editor to support an upcoming 8-episode podcast series.

About the Project

- Project: 8-episode podcast series
- Episode length: Approximately 1 hour per episode
- Format: Host + 1–2 guests
- Recording: Remote, via Zoom
- Timeline: Recordings spread across approximately 2–3 months
- Expected editing workload: Approximately 5–6 hours per week, depending on the episode and recording schedule
- Engagement: Freelance / project-based; not a full-time position

What You'll Do

We’re looking for someone who can support the podcast through the recording and post-production process, including:

- Providing technical/editorial support during remote Zoom recordings
- Editing full-length podcast episodes
- Cleaning up audio and video, including basic corrections and removing unnecessary sections
- Adding transitions, text overlays, captions and other relevant post-production elements
- Maintaining a consistent visual and editorial style across episodes
- Creating short-form clips/reels from podcast episodes for social media
- Identifying engaging moments that can work well as short-form content
- Making minor revisions based on feedback




- Delivering final files in formats suitable for YouTube and social media

What We're Looking For

- Previous experience editing podcasts, interviews, webinars or conversational video content
- Robust understanding of video editing and post-production
- Experience creating short-form content for platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn or YouTube
- Ability to work with remote recordings, particularly Zoom recordings
- Good sense of pacing, storytelling and visual engagement

We’re looking for editing that feels Creative Engaging Polished Professional.

The content is conversation-led, so the editing should enhance the discussion without making it feel overly produced or distracting.

Payment
Per Episode - Rs. 10,000/-

The pay is not fixed and would depend on your experience/scope of work.

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Prabhadevi, Mumbai, Maharashtra
