Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Your tasks

- Compliance to and support of H+S processes as well as implementation of therein prescribed or proposed methods
- Regular reporting about the activities
- Project management or project cooperation for definition and implementation of projects
- Experience with 3D CAD tools for mechanical antennas part design and with Product Data Management (PDM) and ERP systems, project and project management experience. Ability for in-depth theoretical work and practical implementation in the laboratory
- Realization, integration, implementation, test and product qualification
- Support for ramp-up and pre-series production
- Contribution to change management of the products
- Close cooperation and support of process engineering to develop the manufacturing processes
- Internal and external presentation of research and development results
- Technical support of purchasing in supply chain matters
- Participation in the care and purchase of investment goods
- Participation in the preparation of manufacturing, test and quality management concepts and documentation
- Participation in the preparation of technical offers and handling of internal or external customer related orders
- Participation as well as elaboration of feasibility studies and concept studies

Your profile

Education and Experience
- - Qualifications (B.Tech/M.Tech) in mechanical engineering
- Atleast 5-years of experience in the design and implementation of products in plastic,



metal and compound technology as well as in injection mold & die casting technology-compatible design

Preferred Skills:
- - - Experience in realization, integration and implementation of individual parts and complete products from the concept phase into series production incl. project organization.
- Practice in the field of testing and qualification of functional parts and prototypes, drawing design for functional measuring inspection as well as testing, measuring, evaluation and processing of prototype & serial parts.
- Experience with 3D CAD tools for design and with Product Data Management (PDM) and ERP systems, project and project management experience. Ability for in-depth theoretical work and practical implementation in the laboratory

Personal Qualifications:
- - Responsible, reliable, accurate, analytical, and independent way of working.
- Proactive with the necessary interest and willingness to learn new things.
- Should be able to work in international, intercultural and cross functional teams.
