We’re looking for a research leader with 12–20 years of experience who has both published original research and shipped AI systems into production.

You’ll set the scientific direction, build and mentor a robust research team, and work with engineering and product teams to turn promising ideas into reliable systems.

What we’re looking for:

- A PhD from IISc, an IIT, or a leading international university, with research in computer vision, multimodal learning, or memory-augmented models.
- A strong publication record and evidence of research translated into deployed products.
- Experience leading research agendas, developing researchers, and making sound technical decisions.
- Research experience at organisations such as Google DeepMind, Google Research India, Microsoft Research, Meta FAIR, NVIDIA, or comparable labs.

We’d also welcome conversations with senior researchers exploring a return to India from US labs.
