AI Automation Engineer

About the Role

We're looking for an AI Automation Engineer to help DIPL and our clients work smarter with AI. You'll build workflow automations and generative AI solutions, help every department use AI effectively, and act as a link between our clients' business goals and what AI can do for them. You'll also represent our automation offerings in client conversations.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build workflow automations and GenAI solutions using tools like n8n, Make, Zapier, and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Claude, Gemini)
- Work with each department to find repetitive tasks and automate them to improve productivity
- Train team members to use AI tools and maintain simple automations on their own
- Research and resolve AI and automation issues raised by internal teams
- Understand client challenges and requirements, and prepare AI solution strategies and roadmaps that fit their business objectives
- Create workflow demos and proofs of concept for prospective clients
- Join demo and technical calls with clients interested in workflow automation, as a product or as a service
- Work with the sales team on solution scoping, effort estimation, and costing
- Own the client journey from discovery to implementation and support
- Explain technical possibilities in simple, business-friendly language to decision-makers
- Document workflows, prompts, and best practices in a shared knowledge base
- Keep up with AI trends and tools,

Required Skills & Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc. (IT/CS) or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Python or JavaScript
- Understanding of REST APIs, webhooks, and JSON
- Hands-on experience with any automation platform (n8n, Make, Zapier) through projects or internships
- Familiarity with LLMs, prompt engineering, and basic RAG or chatbot concepts
- Good understanding of AI concepts and tools (e.g., NLP, ML, chatbots, automation, cloud technologies)
- Some hands-on experience in AI projects, through execution, coordination, or implementation
- Clear communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple client engagements
- Robust problem-solving mindset, with the ability to turn business needs into AI opportunities
- Flexibility to work with international clients, especially in US time zones as needed

Good to Have

- Experience with LangChain, vector databases, or AI agent frameworks
- Basic SQL and cloud knowledge (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Exposure to CRM/ERP integrations
- A portfolio, GitHub, or demo projects showing automations you've built
- Prior training or presentation experience
