Job Description: R&D; Manager - PET Bottles - Rigid Plastics Packaging Company

Key Responsibilities

- Create creative designs for PET bottles, caps, closures, and customized rigid plastic packaging solutions.
- Lead NPD and R&D; Activities
- Oversee the entire process from concept development to commercialization of new products.
- Innovative Product Development
- Create innovative designs for PET bottles, caps, closures, and customized rigid plastic packaging solutions.
- Drive Product Innovation
- Focus on product innovation by analyzing customer requirements, market trends, and emerging technologies.
- Product Design and Prototyping
- Lead the design, prototyping, sampling, trials, testing, and validation phases of product development.
- Cross-Functional Coordination
- Collaborate with Production, Quality, Tool Room, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, and Technical teams to ensure alignment and efficiency.
- Mould and Tooling Management
- Manage the development, modifications, and technical improvements of moulds and tooling.
- Product Development Considerations
- Develop products while considering quality, functionality, cost, manufacturability, and sustainability.




- Cost Reduction and Optimization
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, light weighting, material optimization, and process improvement.
- Technical Feasibility Studies
- Conduct studies to assess the technical feasibility of new products and customer requirements.
- Troubleshooting Support
- Provide support for troubleshooting and resolving product and process-related issues.
- NPD Timelines Management
- Maintain timelines for new product development and ensure a smooth transition from development to commercial production.
- Research and Development
- Investigate new materials, technologies, processes, and packaging solutions relevant to the rigid plastics industry.
- Customer Collaboration
- Work closely with customers to meet technical specifications, conduct product trials, and achieve product approvals.
- Documentation and Standards Maintenance
- Develop and maintain comprehensive NPD/R&D; documentation, specifications, and technical standards.

Pay: ₹1,500,000.00 per year
