Role Summary

We are looking for a Business Analyst / Product Operations skilled to support the Product team in translating business requirements into clear, actionable product requirements and ensuring smooth day-to-day product execution.

The role will work closely with Product Managers, Lead Product Manager, Engineering, QA and business stakeholders and will be responsible for requirements documentation, user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog management and Agile/Scrum coordination.

The ideal candidate should be highly organized, analytical and detail-oriented, with strong communication skills and hands-on experience with project/product management tools such as Jira, Trello or equivalent platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesRequirements & Documentation

· Gather, analyze and document business and functional requirements.

· Convert requirements into clear user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules.

· Identify gaps, dependencies, edge cases and ambiguities in requirements.

· Create process flows, user journeys and functional documentation where required.

· Support preparation and maintenance of PRDs, BRDs, functional specifications and release documentation.

· Maintain accurate and up-to-date product documentation.

Product Backlog & Project Management Tools

· Maintain and organize product backlogs using Jira, Trello or equivalent project/product management tools.

· Create, update and manage epics, stories, tasks, bugs and related work items.

· Ensure stories are properly defined and ready for development.

· Support backlog refinement and sprint planning.

· Track dependencies, blockers, open questions and pending decisions.

· Maintain backlog hygiene and ensure outdated or duplicate items are addressed.

· Maintain requirement traceability from requirement → story → development → QA → release.





· Prepare basic project/product status reports and dashboards where required.

Agile / Scrum

· Support Product Managers and Lead PM in running Agile/Scrum processes.

· Coordinate and support:

o Sprint Planning

o Backlog Refinement

o Daily Scrum

o Sprint Review

o Retrospective

· Prepare meeting agendas/MOMs and track action items.

· Maintain sprint documentation and follow-ups.

· Help ensure stories, dependencies and priorities are ready before each sprint.

Product Operations

· Coordinate across Product, Engineering, QA and other stakeholders to keep product execution on track.

· Track product issues, decisions, dependencies and action items.

· Support release planning and release documentation.

· Help Product Managers monitor backlog health and delivery status.

· Maintain product/process repositories and ensure important decisions and requirements are documented.

· Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to product execution.

Must-Have Skills

· 3–5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Operations or similar role.

· Strong experience in requirements gathering and documentation.

· Excellent user story and acceptance criteria writing skills.

· Good understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology.

· Hands-on experience with Jira, Trello or equivalent project/product management tools.

· Experience managing backlogs, epics, stories, tasks, bugs and sprint-related activities.

· Robust analytical and problem-solving ability.

· Excellent written and verbal communication.

· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

· Ability to work effectively with Product, Engineering and QA teams.

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹85,000.00 per month

Education:

- Bachelor's (Preferred)
