About Zakaas Bites

Zakaas Bites is a QSR/fast-food outlet serving burgers, fries, nachos, snacks, corn, salads, shakes, beverages and desserts.

Approximately 70% of our food products are frozen/pre-prepared, so the role primarily involves proper cooking/frying, heating, assembling, portion control, food handling and maintaining consistent taste and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare menu items according to Zakaas Bites' standard recipes and preparation methods.
- Handle and prepare frozen food products using fryers, ovens, grills and other kitchen equipment as required.
- Prepare and serve burgers, French fries, flavoured fries, nachos, snacks, corn and other rapid-food items.
- Prepare fresh salads and ensure proper washing, cutting, storage and hygiene of salad ingredients.
- Prepare shakes, cold coffee and other beverages as required.
- Follow proper cooking/frying times and temperatures for frozen products.
- Maintain consistent portion sizes, taste, quality and presentation.
- Ensure proper defrosting, storage and handling of food products wherever required.
- Maintain FIFO and proper stock rotation.
- Check the quality and condition of food products before preparation.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen,



equipment and preparation areas.
- Ensure proper oil handling, filtering and replacement as per management guidelines.
- Monitor food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
- Coordinate with the Supervisor for stock requirements and daily preparation.
- Ensure delivery and takeaway orders are prepared accurately and packed properly.
- Handle peak-hour orders efficiently and maintain preparation speed.
- Follow all food safety and hygiene standards.

Requirements

- Previous experience in a fast-food outlet, QSR, café or restaurant is preferred.
- Experience handling frozen food products will be an advantage.
- Basic knowledge of frying, grilling, heating and food assembly.
- Basic knowledge of salad preparation and food hygiene.
- Ability to operate basic kitchen equipment.
- Good understanding of portion control and food handling.
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and consistency.
- Punctual, responsible and disciplined.
- Ability to work efficiently during peak hours.
- Candidates from Malad, Kandivali, Borivali, Goregaon, Jogeshwari and Andheri will be preferred.

Salary

₹25000 per month, depending on experience and skills.

Working Hours

10am to 9pm

Selection Process

Interview + practical/trial assessment.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
