Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and diligent Site Accountant to oversee site-level financial operations, daily expense tracking, vendor billing, and store record management at our ongoing construction site in Awadh, Lucknow. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in handling site accounts, petty cash, and inventory documentation in a construction or infrastructure company.

Key Responsibilities

- Petty Cash & Expense Management:
- Manage daily site petty cash expenditures, petty vouchers, and site mess expenses.
- Maintain precise logs of all site operational costs and submit weekly/monthly summaries to corporate accounts.
- Vendor & Sub-contractor Billing:
- Verify and process bills, invoices, and payment requisitions from site sub-contractors, suppliers, and labor teams.
- Coordinate with project supervisors and project managers for bill certifications and approvals.
- Material & Inventory Accounting:
- Maintain site store ledgers, Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), issues registers, and stock statements for construction materials.
- Conduct periodic physical verification of materials and report discrepancies or spillages.
- Site Onboarding & Payroll Support:




- Record site staff and daily-wage labor attendance, master rolls, and site overtime logs.
- Prepare site wage calculations and coordinate with corporate HR/payroll for timely disbursement.
- Compliance & Documentation:
- Maintain proper site file documentation, GST invoices, purchase orders (POs), and site billing compliance documents.
- Assist internal and external auditors during site visits and financial audits.

Requirements & Qualifications

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or related field.
- Experience: 3 to 4 years of proven site accounting experience in construction, infrastructure, or civil engineering projects.
- Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in Tally (ERP/Prime) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, basic formulas).
- Familiarity with construction ERP portals (e.g., Powerplay) is a plus.
- Knowledge: Sound understanding of site inventory management, GST billing, TDS, and petty cash operations.
- Soft Skills: Robust numerical accuracy, organizational ability, integrity, and good communication skills.

Work Schedule & Facility

- Working Days: Monday to Saturday (Site Operational Hours)
- Accommodation: Provided free of cost at the project site camp/quarter.
- Food: Free meals provided at the site mess.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
