Job Title: Security Supervisor – Manufacturing Operations

Location: On-site (Manufacturing Unit)

Employment Type: Full-Time (Shift-based including nights/weekends)

Job Summary

The Security Supervisor is responsible for maintaining the physical security, asset protection, and safety of the manufacturing plant, equipment, personnel, and inventory. This role manages the day-to-day security operations, supervises on-duty security guards, manages access control for vehicles and materials, and ensures strict compliance with environmental, health, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities1. Team Leadership & Supervision

- Guard Supervision: Lead, train, and deploy in-house and third-party security guards across shift rosters.
- Shift Handover & Briefings: Conduct daily pre-shift briefings, inspect uniform compliance, and assign guard posts (gates, loading docks, perimeter).
- Performance Monitoring: Conduct random checks to ensure guards actively perform patrol duties and stay alert.

2. Plant Access Control & Material Movement

- Gate Operations: Oversee the entry and exit process for factory personnel, contract workers, visitors, and delivery personnel.
- Material Gate Pass System: Inspect outward and inward vehicles, verify Returnable/Non-Returnable Gate Passes (RGP/NRGP), and prevent unauthorized material removal or scrap movement.
- Vehicle & Cargo Inspection: Ensure thorough searches of trucks, tankers, and commercial vehicles entering or exiting the plant facility.

3. Surveillance, Asset Protection & Patrols

- Perimeter Security: Conduct scheduled and unscheduled foot/vehicle patrols of factory grounds, warehouses, perimeter fences, and hazardous storage zones.
- CCTV & Alarm Systems:



Monitor and operate CCTV platforms, fire alarms, metal detectors, and access control systems.
- Theft & Loss Prevention: Prevent theft, sabotage, unauthorized entry, and damage to raw materials, finished goods, and machinery.

4. Emergency Response & Incident Management

- First Response: Serve as primary responder during security breaches, trespassing, fires, medical emergencies, or chemical spills.
- Evacuation Drills: Support mock fire drills, emergency evacuations, and disaster management drills.
- Incident Reports: Investigate security breaches, accidents, or policy violations, draft incident reports, and submit logs to management.

5. Safety & Regulatory Compliance

- EHS Support: Work closely with the EHS (Workplace, Health & Safety) team to enforce safety rules (e.g., mandatory PPE, speed limits inside plant grounds).
- Law Enforcement Coordination: Assist local law enforcement, police, or emergency service personnel when authorized.

Qualifications & Skills

- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s Degree in Criminology, Business Administration, or related field is a plus.
- Experience: 3 to 5+ years of security experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisor role within a manufacturing, industrial, or warehouse environment.
- Certifications:
- Active state/local security guard license or registration.
- First Aid / CPR / Fire Safety certification preferred.
- Military or law enforcement background is a strong advantage.
- Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CCTV systems, digital logbook software, access control hardware, and MS Office.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to walk, stand for extended periods, inspect heavy vehicles, and work outdoors under varying weather conditions.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
