Job Description:

We are looking for a skilled South Indian Commis-I to join the kitchen team at a resort in Ramnagar, Uttarakhand. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of South Indian cuisine and be able to assist with preparation and cooking while maintaining quality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook South Indian dishes according to standard recipes.
- Assist with daily mise en place and kitchen preparation.
- Ensure consistent taste, quality, and presentation.
- Prepare ingredients and maintain proper food storage.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the assigned workstation.
- Follow food safety and kitchen safety procedures.
- Assist senior chefs during daily kitchen operations.




- Monitor ingredients and inform the senior chef about stock requirements.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
- Work effectively with the kitchen team during busy service periods.

Requirements:

- Relevant experience in South Indian cuisine.
- Good knowledge of South Indian dishes and preparation methods.
- Previous experience as a Commis-I or similar role preferred.
- Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Good teamwork and willingness to learn.
- Resort/hotel experience will be an advantage.
