Job Description

We are looking for Diploma Civil / Civil Engineering candidates, including freshers, to work as a Freelance Structural Audit / Site Engineer for residential and commercial building structural audit projects.

The candidate will assist in site inspections, structural observations, documentation, measurements, NDT testing coordination and preparation of structural audit reports under the guidance of a senior structural engineer.

Key Responsibilities

Visit residential and commercial buildings for structural inspection and audit work.

Inspect RCC, load-bearing and composite structures.

Identify and record visible defects such as:

Cracks

Spalling and exposed reinforcement

Corrosion

Leakage and dampness

Deflection

Damaged plaster/concrete

Other structural deterioration

Take site measurements and photographs and maintain proper inspection records.

Assist in NDT testing such as Rebound Hammer, UPV, Cover Meter, Carbonation Test, Half-Cell Test and Core Test.

Coordinate with testing agencies and site representatives when required.

Assist in preparing structural audit reports, observations, photographs and recommendations.

Follow instructions provided by the senior structural engineer during site inspections.

Qualification





Diploma in Civil Engineering – Preferred.

B.E./B.Tech. Civil Engineering candidates may also apply.

Freshers are welcome to apply.

Previous site/structural inspection experience will be an advantage but is not mandatory.

Skills Required

Basic knowledge of civil engineering and building construction.

Ability to understand basic structural elements such as columns, beams, slabs and load-bearing walls.

Willingness to travel to different project sites.

Good observation and documentation skills.

Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office is an advantage.

Must be willing to learn structural inspection and audit procedures.

This prospect is suitable for fresh Diploma Civil candidates who want practical field experience in structural auditing, building inspection, NDT testing and structural rehabilitation work.

Remuneration: Project-wise / assignment-wise, depending on experience and scope of work.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
