Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced NPA / Collections Manager to manage delinquent and non-performing loan accounts, drive recovery efforts, and improve portfolio quality. The role will involve monitoring overdue accounts, developing recovery strategies, managing the collections team, and ensuring adherence to company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and monitor delinquent, overdue and NPA loan accounts.
- Track portfolio performance including DPD, bounce, delinquency and recovery trends.
- Develop and implement effective NPA and recovery strategies.
- Supervise and guide the Collections/Recovery team to achieve assigned targets.
- Review bucket-wise collection performance and identify high-risk accounts.
- Coordinate with internal teams including Credit, Operations, Risk and Legal for resolution of delinquent accounts.
- Monitor recovery through calls, settlements and other approved recovery channels.
- Maintain accurate collection,



recovery and NPA-related MIS and reports.
- Analyse ageing, roll-forward/roll-back and recovery data to identify portfolio risks.
- Ensure collection activities are conducted professionally and in accordance with applicable policies and regulatory guidelines.
- Escalate critical/high-value delinquent accounts and recommend appropriate recovery actions.
- Monitor agency/vendor performance, where applicable, and ensure compliance with company guidelines.
- Support management in reducing NPA levels and improving portfolio quality.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Graduate/MBA in Finance, Banking, or a relevant field.
- 0–5 years of experience in Collections, NPA Management, Recovery or Credit Operations, preferably in an NBFC/Banking/Digital Lending setting.
- Strong understanding of DPD, delinquency, NPA, bounce, collection buckets and recovery processes.
- Positive analytical and MIS reporting skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and collection-related reporting.
- Strong team-handling, communication and negotiation skills.
- Knowledge of applicable collection practices and regulatory requirements.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
