Key Responsibilities

- Academic Instruction
- Teach English Language and Literature to students of Grades VI to X in accordance with the CBSE curriculum.
- Develop lesson plans that promote reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and appreciation of literary works.
- Classroom Management
- Maintain a disciplined, positive, and engaging classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Ensure effective student participation and collaborative learning.
- Assessment & Evaluation
- Prepare and administer assessments, assignments, and examinations.
- Conduct timely copy correction, feedback, and performance analysis.
- Maintain accurate academic records and student progress reports.
- Curriculum Development
- Contribute to worksheet preparation, activity-based learning modules, and language enrichment programmes such as debates, recitations, creative writing, and literary clubs.
- Student Development




- Identify students’ strengths and areas for improvement and provide guidance accordingly.
- Encourage participation in inter-house competitions, literary events, and cultural programmes.
- Parent Communication
- Participate in Parent–Teacher Meetings and provide constructive feedback regarding student progress and behaviour.
- School Engagement
- Assist in organizing academic events, assemblies, and school activities.
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high academic standards and institutional discipline.

Eligibility Criteria

- Educational Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in English (B.A. English Honours or equivalent).
- Experience: Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school preferred. Freshers can also apply.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Excellent command over spoken and written English.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to use modern teaching methodologies and digital learning tools.
