Position: Sales Executive – OEM (Steel Distribution)
Department: Sales & Marketing
Location: Andheri - Mumbai
Reporting To: Sales Head

Role Summary

The Sales Executive – OEM will be responsible for managing day-to-day OEM customer interactions, supporting key accounts, generating new OEM leads, and executing sales orders efficiently. The role focuses on achieving assigned volume targets, maintaining strong customer relationships, and ensuring smooth coordination between customers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Handle assigned OEM customers in automotive, engineering, fabrication, infrastructure, and manufacturing sectors
- Generate new OEM leads and assist in onboarding new customers
- Achieve monthly sales targets in terms of volume (MT) and value
- Support price negotiations and follow up on rate approvals and contracts
- Coordinate with procurement, logistics, and warehouse teams for timely dispatches
- Ensure adherence to OEM quality standards, documentation, and delivery schedules
- Track orders, follow up on deliveries, and resolve customer queries or issues
- Monitor outstanding payments and follow up on collections as per credit terms
- Maintain customer records, pricing details,



and sales data in systems
- Prepare daily / weekly sales reports, order status updates, and market feedback
- Keep track of competitor activities and market pricing trends

Key Skills & Competencies

- Basic to valuable understanding of OEM sales processes and steel distribution
- Knowledge of steel products such as HR/CR coils, GP/GC, sheets, plates, tubes, pipes, etc.
- Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Strong attention to detail and documentation
- Proficiency in MS Excel

Educational Qualification

- Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Engineering, or Business Administration
- MBA (Sales/Marketing) will be an added advantage

Experience

- 2-5 years of experience in steel sales / OEM account handling / steel distribution
- Exposure to OEM customers or industrial B2B sales preferred

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
