About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Security Architect with 8–10+ years of cybersecurity experience to support the initial architecture and design phase of a client security transformation initiative.
The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on knowledge of Proofpoint, CyberArk, ManageEngine, Microsoft Sentinel, and the broader Microsoft Security ecosystem, including Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Intune, and related security solutions.
This is primarily a client-facing architecture and advisory role. The candidate should be capable of understanding business and technical requirements, designing appropriate security solutions, explaining architectural options and trade-offs, and guiding the client on integration and implementation strategies.
The actual implementation may be carried out by professional services teams from the respective technology/solution partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage directly with clients to understand their security requirements, existing environment, challenges, and business objectives.
- Represent the client in technical discussions and provide recommendations aligned with security best practices.
- Architect and design security solutions using:
- Proofpoint
- CyberArk
- ManageEngine
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Microsoft Defender security solutions
- Microsoft Intune
- Other relevant Microsoft security technologies
- Develop and present high-level and detailed security architecture designs based on client requirements.
- Evaluate different implementation approaches and clearly explain their advantages, limitations, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
- Design integration between Microsoft security solutions and third-party security platforms.
- Understand and explain security architecture across identity, endpoint, email, SIEM, privileged access, device management, and other relevant security domains.
- Guide clients on architecture, integration, deployment approach, and implementation strategy.
- Review proposed technical solutions from implementation partners and ensure alignment with the approved architecture.
- Provide technical direction and architectural guidance to professional services and implementation teams.
- Participate in client meetings, architecture workshops, solution discussions, and technical presentations.
- Prepare and review architecture documentation, solution designs, integration diagrams, and implementation recommendations.
- Ensure that the proposed architecture is scalable, secure, maintainable, and aligned with industry best practices.
Required Technical SkillsMicrosoft Security
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft security ecosystem, including:
- Microsoft Sentinel
- Microsoft Defender
- Microsoft Defender for Endpoint
- Microsoft Defender for Identity
- Microsoft Defender for Office 365
- Microsoft Intune
- Microsoft Entra ID / Azure AD
- Microsoft security and identity integrations
- SIEM/SOAR concepts and security monitoring
Other Security Technologies
Strong experience with one or more of the following is expected, with hands-on exposure to the core platforms:
- Proofpoint – Email security, threat protection, information protection, etc.
- CyberArk – Privileged Access Management (PAM), privileged accounts, access controls, etc.
- ManageEngine – Endpoint management, security management, IT/security operations, and related solutions.
Architecture & Integration
The candidate should be able to:
- Translate business and security requirements into practical technical architectures.
- Design integrations between Microsoft and third-party security platforms.
- Assess multiple solution approaches and explain the associated pros, cons, risks, and trade-offs.
- Understand security dependencies across different technologies and platforms.
- Define architecture and implementation strategies without being limited to individual product features.
- Review and challenge technical designs proposed by implementation teams when required.
- Provide explicit architectural recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Client-Facing & Communication Skills
Excellent English communication and presentation skills are essential.
The candidate should be comfortable with:
- Leading client-facing technical discussions.
- Conducting architecture workshops.
- Presenting solution designs to senior stakeholders.
- Explaining complex security concepts in a clear and structured manner.
- Advising clients on security best practices.
- Defending architectural decisions with appropriate technical reasoning.
- Discussing alternative approaches and their respective trade-offs.
Required Experience
- 8–10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or related technology domains.
- Strong experience designing and architecting enterprise security solutions.
- Demonstrated experience with Microsoft security technologies.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of Proofpoint, CyberArk, ManageEngine, and Microsoft Sentinel.
- Experience integrating multiple security platforms and technologies.
- Experience working directly with enterprise clients and stakeholders.
- Ability to operate at an architecture/design level while maintaining strong technical credibility.
Engagement Scope
The Security Architect will primarily be engaged during the initial architecture and design phase, expected to be approximately 2–3 months.
Pay: ₹80,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
