Senior Accountant – SEBI / LODR Compliance

Location: Gurugram
Work Mode: In-Office
Working Days: 5 Days a Week

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with strong hands-on experience in accounting, financial reporting, taxation, statutory audits, and regulatory compliance within a public listed company.

The ideal candidate should have at least 6 years of total accounting experience, including 3+ years with a BSE/NSE-listed company, preferably a small-cap listed organization. The candidate will be responsible for independently managing accounting and financial reporting activities and ensuring compliance with SEBI (LODR) Regulations, Companies Act, Ind AS/IFRS, and stock exchange requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Independently manage the company's books of accounts and ensure accurate and timely financial reporting as per applicable Ind AS/IFRS.
- Prepare quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial results and coordinate timely submission to the stock exchange.
- Coordinate with statutory, internal, and secretarial auditors for audits, limited reviews, and related requirements.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI (LODR) Regulations and applicable stock exchange requirements related to financial disclosures.
- Work closely with the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer on board meetings, financial disclosures, and regulatory filings.
- Handle complete finalization of accounts, including Balance Sheet, Profit & Loss Account, Cash Flow Statement, and related schedules.
- Oversee GST, TDS, income tax computations, assessments, and statutory tax filings.
- Support management with investor communication, earnings disclosures, and financial information required for shareholder and analyst queries.
- Maintain and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting processes in accordance with listed-company governance standards.




- Supervise and review the work of junior accounting team members and provide necessary guidance.
- Coordinate with merchant bankers, registrars, share transfer agents, and other external stakeholders on financial and compliance matters.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, MIS reporting, board reporting, and Audit Committee reporting.
- Keep updated with changes in SEBI regulations, Companies Act provisions, Ind AS/IFRS, and other regulations applicable to listed entities.

Mandatory RequirementsExperience

- Minimum 6 years of total accounting experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a BSE/NSE-listed company or equivalent recognized stock exchange.
- Hands-on experience independently managing books of accounts and financial reporting for a listed entity.
- Experience in preparing quarterly, half-yearly, and annual financial results for stock exchange submission.
- Experience coordinating with statutory, internal, and secretarial auditors.
- Strong experience in account finalization, including Balance Sheet, P&L;, and Cash Flow.
- Experience handling GST, TDS, income tax computations, assessments, and filings.
- Experience working with the Company Secretary and Compliance Officer on financial disclosures and regulatory filings.
- Experience liaising with merchant bankers, registrars, and share transfer agents.

Technical Skills

- Strong working knowledge of SEBI (LODR) Regulations.
- Good knowledge of Companies Act, 2013.




- Strong understanding of Ind AS / IFRS.
- Sound knowledge of direct and indirect taxation.
- Strong understanding of statutory audit and financial reporting processes.
- Proficiency in Tally ERP.
- Advanced MS Excel skills.
- Robust analytical and financial reporting skills.

Education

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CA Inter, CA Qualified, or CMA qualification will be preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in investor relations or analyst reporting.
- Experience working directly with the CFO and Board/Audit Committee.
- Experience supporting investor communication and earnings disclosures.
- Experience in a small-cap listed company.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work under strict regulatory and reporting deadlines.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in listed-company accounting and financial reporting, with practical knowledge of SEBI/LODR compliance, Ind AS/IFRS, taxation, audit coordination, and account finalization.

The candidate should be capable of independently managing accounting and reporting responsibilities while coordinating effectively with the CFO, Company Secretary, Compliance Officer, auditors, stock exchange stakeholders, and other external agencies.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,200,000.00 per year
