CAD Engineer – New Product Development
Mumbai | Full-time | 7-8 years

Hettich is hiring a CAD Engineer to support recent product development through concept design, 3D modeling, engineering drawings, FEM analysis and CAD automation.

What you'll do

- Develop product concepts and design mechanical products/components
- Create and optimize 3D parts, assemblies and 2D manufacturing drawings using CATIA and SAP ECTR
- Perform FEM modeling, meshing, simulation and result evaluation using HyperWorks, Ansys or equivalent
- Support structural optimization, fatigue analysis and material-data preparation
- Maintain engineering documents and design revisions throughout the product lifecycle
- Identify opportunities for CAD automation using macros, scripting or PLM workflows





What we're looking for

- 7-8 years in mechanical design or new product development using 3D CAD software
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical) or ME/MTech (CAD-CAM / Machine Design / Design Engineering)
- Proficiency in CATIA; experience with FEM tools (HyperWorks, OptiStruct, Radioss, Ansys Workbench)
- Strong understanding of GD&T;, tolerance stack-up and manufacturing processes
- SAP ECTR, Power Automate/Python scripting, or CATIA automation (VBA, CATScript, EKL) a plus

Pay: Up to ₹2,000,000.00 per year
