Job Description – Senior Purchase Executive

Position : Senior Purchase Executive – MEP & Electrical

Location: Baner, Pune

Experience: 5+ Years

Salary : ₹5 – ₹10 LPA (Interview and Based on previous salary)

Qualification : Diploma / B.E. in Electrical Engineering

Notice Period : 1 Month

Key Responsibilities

Manage procurement of MEP and core electrical materials for projects as per approved BOQ, specifications, and project requirements.

- Handle sourcing, vendor development, price negotiation, comparison, and Purchase Order processing.
- Procure a wide range of *electrical materials, equipment, and components* required for MEP and electrical projects.
- Review BOQs and coordinate with project, design, planning, and site teams to understand material requirements.
- Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials as per project schedules.
- Develop and maintain relationships with reliable vendors, contractors, and supplier.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial terms.
- Follow up with vendors for timely delivery and resolve supply-related issues.
- Monitor material availability and ensure there are no project-related material shortages.
- Evaluate vendor performance based on quality, cost, delivery, and service.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor documentation, quotations, comparative statements, POs, and reports.




- Ensure procurement is carried out within approved budgets while maintaining required quality standards.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of *MEP and Electrical Materials* and their applications.
- Hands-on experience in *BOQ-based procurement* for electrical/MEP projects.
- Experience in procurement of *all types of electrical materials* as per project requirements.
- Strong vendor development, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Purchase Management Systems.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with project, design, planning, stores, finance, and site teams.
- Strong follow-up and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Candidate

- 5+ years of experience in MEP / Electrical Material Purchase.*
- Candidates with solid core electrical procurement experience will be preferred.
- Experience in procurement based on *BOQ, project specifications, and site requirements.
- Candidates serving a *1-month notice period* are preferred.
- Candidates with experience in MEP contracting, electrical projects, construction, or related industries will be preferred.
